The All-Sufficient One. The God of more-than-enough. Shaddai carries the idea of 'mountain' — unshakeable.
When Abraham was 99 years old and the promise of a son seemed dead, God revealed Himself as El Shaddai. Where you are running on empty, He is more than enough. Where you are exhausted, He has not even begun to be tired.
"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."
Four small steps. Don't try to do all of them. Pick one. Do it today.
Write it down without softening it. God is not afraid of your specific need. Anxiety thrives on vague dread; faith works with concrete asks.
On the same page, two columns. Be honest. God promises to meet your needs — and is wise about your wants. The act of separating them is itself a prayer.
Look back over the last seven days. Find one thing — food, sleep, a friend's text. Speak it aloud. Memory builds faith for tomorrow.
