“Don’t throw me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me.”
Psalm 51:11 · World English Bible
The breath of God — comforter, counselor, the very presence of God with you.
Ruach means breath, wind, spirit. The same breath that breathed life into Adam breathes life into you. When you do not know what to pray, the Spirit groans for you. When you do not know which way to go, He guides.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer, present your requests to God."
Four small steps. Don't try to do all of them. Pick one. Do it today.
"What is the worst that could happen?" Write it. Anxiety loses half its power when dragged into the light. The unnamed dread is the loudest.
Take the fear and write next to it one thing that is true about God — a name, a promise, a remembered faithfulness. Truth louder than fear.
Four counts in. Six counts out. Repeat for two minutes. Your body believes what it practices. Teach it peace.
Before sleep, name one thing you will entrust to Him until morning. Say it aloud: "This is yours now." Then sleep. He will not.
